Equipped with high power electronic load, the analyzers are capable of doing analysis of characteristics and performance of the batteries used in battery bank. 
The Guardex series are composed of high power electronic load used either in characteristics and performance test of variety of power storage batteries.
The electronic load used for discharging energy stored in the batteries in order to analyze the power storing capability and life time. 
The data collectors are equipped with voltage and temperature detectors, and work for collecting cell voltage temperature and internal resistance of each battery during discharging of batteries. By utilizing Zigbee communication technologies, data collected are transmitted to host controller for analysis.
The host controller equipped with touch panel display, collects all data and information transmitted from cell collector to analyze for evaluation of each battery.
The results of the analysis are displayed as graphic data format.
And it provides the critical information for judgment of good or bad of the batteries under test.
This test gives great benefit of minimizing murder of good batteries and recognizing bad batteries correctly for replacing with new one. As a result, the battery bank can keep its capability as a back up of power failure.

Real time Battery Monitoring

Traditional battery monitoring systems perform the most crucial test – ohmic value – once a week or once a month.  But battery can be failed in unexpected condition, environment and accident in moment. Wireless data gathering by Zigbee

Guardex can gather whole information of each battery without any wire connection between HOST and PROBE. Zigbee, wireless personal area networks (WPANs) which operating at 2.4 GHz, make the wireless solution possible. Using ZigBee, Host and PROBE can communicate at speeds of up to 115 Kbps while physically separated by distances of up to 50 meters in typical circumstances and greater distances in an ideal environment. It makes more convenient environment for operator. In case of any need for wire connection, it also provides RS485 connection.

Preparation for unexpected outage and saving cost

Over 75% of UPS failures can be attributed to a battery failure (Including generator start batteries). Up to 5% of batteries fail during the warranty period. Any string of batteries is only as good as its weakest cell. Batteries typically fail in one to two weeks and in moment sometimes.

Quarterly maintenance is totally deficient to checking battery condition and preparing spares.
A failing battery puts additional strain on the remaining “good” batteries. “Ten Year” batteries have a service life between four to six years. Batteries near end-of-life have lost 20% of their original load capacity and 50% of their original runtime.
